Over 65's continue unbeaten run beating Birmingham Whites

Old Corinthians Over 65's entertained the Birmingham Whites today at Pack Lane Coleshill. Whites started strongly but  Corinthians took control with their passing style. The first half ended with Corinthians on top with a comfortable 2 - 0 lead with goals from a long range Ray Beech effort and a smart finish from Gee Lecointe. Whites came out for the second period in determined fashion and reduce the arrears midway through the half  with a good goal from Richard Dawson. However Corinthians two goal cushion was restored when a long range effort from Clyde Redfern took a slight deflection in to the net to make it 3 - 1. With littel time left Whites pulled a second goal back through a superb solo effort from striker Dawson, this led to a nervy last few minutes  but Corinthians saw out the rest of the game to maintain their 100% record.
