O65's loose in first round of the cup

Championship leaders OC's took on Premier League leaders Solihull Moors in the first round of the cup at Coleshill on Wednesday 21st. Corinthians started well keeping possession and knocking the ball around well and creating some shooting opportunities. However Solihull always looked dangerous and took a three goal lead in to the break following two excellent long range strikes.

The second half began calamtously with our keeper striking a clearance against our own defender that richocheted in to the top corner giving Solihull a four goal lead to which they added a fifth soon afterwards. We scored a consolation goal from the spot after a DOGSO from a Solihull defender, Steve Rushbury tucked it away nicely to make the final score 1-5. Although the better side 5-1 somewhat flattered Solihull as we were always threatening and had several shots on target.
