Golds suffer another loss

Old Corinthians Golds suffered their second consecutive league defeat, this time at the hands of Birmingham Whites. Once again the Golds were hampered by player availability but made a reasonable start and were growing in to the game. This was before our achillies heel struck again and we gave the ball away in a key area and were punished for it, 1-0. We were still in the game as the second half began and looked like we may get back in to the game before a deflected shot flew past keeper Lee Perrow. Rob Guy went close to reducing the arrears in the closing stages but to no avail.
