Clarets back to winning ways, Gold unbeaten run ends

1 - 0 and 0 - 4

Clarets played Birmingham whites who we beat earlier in the season a close first half with Tim going close hitting the post Ross made a couple of good saves very even first half with Bob and Dave at the back playing and bossing them at the back.Second half saw ourselves picking up the pace and playing with confidence which has been missing recently repasted and really worked well for each other with Nick and Andy P causing there defence problems throughout.Andy P had a cracking shot hit the post and bar Blues did not trouble to much in the second half we should of been a couple in front before Andy P scored a cracking goal worthy of winning the game for us which ended 1 0 to us a great solid team effort after recent poor displays.

Once again the Golds were victims of their own making, we matched the Blues in the early exchanges as they struggled to break us down. The first goal was a result of a loss in possession in the midfield leaving their stiker 1 on 1 and he turned smartly to finish. The second came about from a lack of marking at the back post and the Blues forward had a tap in. We started the second period brightly and were awarded a DOGSO penalty which we unfortunately missed and strait afterwards and individual error gifted them the third. They scored a dubious fourth when they to were awarded a penalty for encroachment in to the area.
